Joseph Nicephore Neipce
Joseph was a French inventor. He was born in 1765 in Charlon-sur-Saone France. Joseph was the first known person to develop a photograph. He did this around 1816. He combined the camera and silver salt to make the image some what show up. The image showed up but then faded after a few hours. He produced the first permanit image in 1826.He called this image a heliograph. He began a partnership with Louis Daguerre hsi partnership with Louis ended when Joseph died of a stroke in 1833. Right now The first photograph is at the University of Texas in Austin.
Louis Jacques Mande Daguerre
Daguerre is a French artist and chemist. Louis was born in France during 1778. He was at first a scene painter for the french opera! He was then partners with Joseph Nicephore Neipce. He created the Daguerreotype which was the first legit potographic process. Daguerreotypes were normaly portiats. He invented the 1839. Daguerre was always in compotition with William Henry Fox Talbot.
William Henery Fox Talbot
Talbot was a British inventor and he was a photographic explorer. Talbot was born in England in 1800. He invented the calograph and he discovered the negative that you could make as many copies as you want. Talbot and Daguerre were always at each others throat or in other words competing non-stop. This stoped when Daguerre finally died. Henry went to college at Harrow and at Trinity College. He was also in Parliament for a short time. He got a medal from the Royal Society for his experemints with the caleotype, but because he kept all of his experements secritive he lost alot of friends and imformation.
George Eastman
George was an American inventor and then was kind of a 1870's hippie because he was a philanthropist. Eastman was born in New York in 1854. He dropped out of high school. He also was the founder of kodak and Eastman invented roll film. In 1888 he made the Kodak camera perfect! In Eastman's later life he was in great pain because of his back he eventually became depresed and killed himself.

John Joly was an Irish physicist and he worked on creating a treatment for cancer he invented radiotheraphy. He was born in a Irish church in 1857. Frederick Ives was a American inventor. He was born in Connecticut in 1856. Frederick was the first that made a color photgraph. Frederick also patented this weird 3-D but not 3-D thing called parallax stereogram.
Edwin H. Land
Edwin was an Inventor and Scientist he invented the polariod cameria or the first intaint camera. He was born in America in 1909. For college he went to Harvard University to study chemistry but dropped out after freshman year and went to New York City. He invented the polariod while he was in New York. He died in Massachusetts and after he died to his wishes his assistant shredded all of his notes and other stuff.

In 1969 the first legit digital camera was created by George Smith and Willard Boyle. The first color digital camera was mad e by Kodak in 1975. After that Cannon and Nikon came up with the amazing cameras we have today.
